Up for sale is a beautiful MATCHED PAIR (A/B) of fully refurbished KEF 104/2 speakers. If you are looking at this listing you probably already know the reputation these speakers have of being one of the best audiophile speakers ever made. If not, please Google the speakers and read the reviews! Cosmetically these speakers are, in my opinion, in NEAR MINT condition. I have never see a cleaner pair and I have seen a lot of KEFs over the years. I currently own 10 pair of vintage KEF speakers some of which I have on other listings. The grills are perfect. The beautiful matched walnut finishes are nearly flawless with only a couple of very small marks on the edges. Please look carefully at all pictures and judge the cosmetic condition of the speakers for yourself!! I have owned these speakers for about four years now and they have been one of the pairs in my main listening room. I value them for their smooth uncolored sound. The previous owner had the speakers completely refurbished by Freeman Tuell Speaker Services here in Dallas. The crossovers were completely recapped, the foam surrounds and center donuts on the woofers were replace, and the ferrofluid in the tweeter was changed out. The speakers sound as good as new and have no issues whatsoever. I have the original packing boxes and packing material for these speakers. The boxes are in fair condition and would still be usable for protection during transport. Because of the size and the weight of these speakers I am listing them for local pickup only. I will work with you if you make arrangements for packing and shipping but I will not take responsibility for the packing and shipping myself. Buy with confidence.
