Bei der Abdeckung des Kassettenbereichs ist an der oberen rechten Ecke wohl auch schon mal jemand mit einer Zigarette drangekommen, auf den Fotos ist dies deutlich erkennbar, die Handhabung des Gerätes wird dadurch jedoch nicht beeinträchtigt. Da es bei mir in den letzten 20 Jahren nur noch rumstand, habe ich es zumindest mal kurz getestet: Die Wiedergabe ist einwandfrei. Der Sound ist echt top. Die Drehregler für Input Level, Bias Fine und Balance sind auch top in Ordnung, sie weisen keinerlei Knackgeräusche oder ähnliches auf. Insgesamt habe ich von der technischen / elektronischen Seite her keine Mängel finden können, aber es hat halt viele Schönheitsfehler.
