For Auction:- The ultimate Ipod speaker dock!! This is a Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin speaker. This is a 1st Generation model and should NOT be confused with the AIR model which has wireless connectivity. This unit only connects through its docking arm. These were designed to be used with Ipods but you can get lightening connectors so the device can be connected to your phone.We have been using it with an Ipod for the majority of the time and it works perfectly, the sound quality as expected is amazing.We have used our phones via the adaptor but recently its been getting a bit of a lottery accepting the Apple phone connectivity as the unit is over 10 years old. We get the occasional Device not supported message and after a few power cycles it works fine. (this is not a fault with the Zeppelin). I thought i would point this out just so you are aware. We brought the unit new and did have a problem with it within about 9 months of use. The unit was fixed/replaced by Bowers and Wilkins under warranty as you can see by the letter in the photos. As noted previously i managed to damage the dock connector when i cleaned the unit. Gutted to say the least... Hopefully it can be just glued in place. its an amazing sounding speaker and still out performs the majority of the speakers out there today.The only reason i am selling is i have upgraded to the New Zeppelin as i listen to a lot of radio these days.
