Bought this in late May, and it arrived literally the night before we left for a 2 week vacation, so I missed my 15-day period to return it. I love it! It sounds superb and Ill get to that more in a minute. In short, I bought one of the Yggdrasil GS+ units hoping the older analogue card would sound great. It did, but I have Klipsch RF-7 IIIs and I was hoping to tame a bit of the forwardness of those Klipsch with a warmer Less is More Upgrade. It did, but then I learned this wont read DSD, and I have a ton of those downloads, so I opted for the PS Audio StellarGold DAC instead. It has a few more features, but in my A/B level matched (closely so using my real SPL meter) it was a really difficult call to say which sounded better. At about 2/3 the price, the Yggdrasil did just fine and if I were being honest, what really decided it for me was that the PS AUdio stellargold chassis matched my StellarGold preamp. SO Im keeping it. But honestly, the Schiit sounds just as good. Its in perfect condition and I listed this as open box because I literally have used it no more than about 15 minutes to test against the PS Audio. I have ALL of the original unused accessories, manual, all packaging. It really is like new. Also, it has the upgrade option of the Unisom USB. So thats the Yggdrasil + Less is More with Unisom USB. Includes all original accessories and packaging including remote, power cable, owners manual. That retails new for $2299, so a great chance to get a fine unit and save big. Good luck bidding. Love, love, love the smooth detail from an ink-black background this DAC provides - probably the best DAC I ever owned; but due to health issues must sell all but a couple prized pieces that will go to kids. Even though its a terrible cliche, Im kind of assuming that if you are looking at this, you will have read lots of reviews and are familiar with its excellent performance so wont list the specs here. Hope someone can put this outstanding piece to good use. You will absolutely love the sound.

The DAC has five digital Inputs including coaxial digital, AES/EBU, USB, BNC, and digital optical TOSLINK. It also has stereo L/R RCA and balanced XLR Audio Outputs. It looks like the Yggdrasil+ OG version is no longer available in black from Schiit as Im guessing they are unable to source the Analog Devices chip needed for producing it. The Yggdrasil+ OG had sold for $2699 in black with the Less is More and More is Less versions selling for less. The OG+ was most recently the top model Iggy. This Yggdrasil OG uses the same conversion chipset (Analog Devices) and output board (A2) that the OG+ used. This is the version which both the Absolute Sound and Stereophile both praised in their respective reviews. It can be upgraded to the OG+ if you wish to gain a remote control, lighter chassis, and the ability to turn off the oversampling. Virtually all reviews said the Yggdrasil sounded better in Oversampling mode though so Im not sure why you would want to turn it off. All inputs and outputs are working as they should The Yggdrasil comes with the original power cord. I do not have the original box or manual. The DAC will be packaged very securely and double boxed for shipping. I will accept offers above my listing price for those who wish to avoid the auction format.
