The turntables actions are smooth and nice. I just wanted to show you that it works. The cover has some scratches and rubs, I tried to show them to you in a few of the photos. Seems like I only see those imperfections when I am looking for them. For those photos, I had to get the light set-up just right to show you the imperfections. Under normal room-light, the cover presents very well. See the one photo of the inside mechanism... I removed the bottom cover to be sure that the mechanism was OK: very clean and bright. Also: see that the simulated wood vinyl has a few wrinkles where the switch-panels are located. I tried to show them all to you in the photos. Again, I really dont see those flaws unless I go looking for them. At some point in the last 45 years, someone has spliced RCA jacks onto the output leads. See the picture. This turntable came to me with no cartridge, no stylus. I have installed a used one that I had in a drawer. It plays well, but you will want to add your own cartridge for the best quality of sound from this turntable. The YP-B4 is 17 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep and will be a total of 17 inches deep with the cover open. The unit is about 5-3/4 inches tall. The unit weighs 15 pounds, 8 ounces. The balanced aluminum turntable is heavy. I will remove it for shipping. You will have to place the turntable back onto the unit and fit the belt around the motor spindle... its an easy, no-tools job; the wheel simply fits over the spindle and you can thread the belt through the hole in the wheel. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *

Anti skate weight for the tonearm of the Yamaha YP-D71. This anti skate weight is made as a close replica of the original. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *

New Belt installed... Yamaha YP-B4 Automatic Turntable This turntable works very well! See the VIDEO... the low-quality video is not near as smooth as the actual machines actions. The turntables actions are smooth and nice. I just wanted to show you that it works. The cover has some scratches and rubs, I tried to show them to you in a few of the photos. Seems like I only see those imperfections when I am looking for them. For those photos, I had to get the light set-up just right to show you the imperfections. Under normal room-light, the cover presents very well. See the one photo of the inside mechanism... I removed the bottom cover to be sure that the mechanism was OK: very clean and bright. Also: see that the simulated wood vinyl has a few wrinkles where the switch-panels are located. I tried to show them all to you in the photos. Again, I really dont see those flaws unless I go looking for them. At some point in the last 45 years, someone has spliced RCA jacks onto the output leads. See the picture. This turntable came to me with no cartridge, no stylus. I have installed a used one that I had in a drawer. It plays well, but you will want to add your own cartridge for the best quality of sound from this turntable. The YP-B4 is 17 inches wide, 14.5 inches deep and will be a total of 17 inches deep with the cover open. The unit is about 5-3/4 inches tall. The unit weighs 15 pounds, 8 ounces. The balanced aluminum turntable is heavy. I will remove it for shipping. You will have to place the turntable back onto the unit and fit the belt around the motor spindle... its an easy, no-tools job; the wheel simply fits over the spindle and you can thread the belt through the hole in the wheel.
