Turntable is in very nice cosmetic condition as can be seen in the pics. It has the typical scuffs on the lid but still pretty clear in my opinion. I plugged it in and when I lift the arm, the platter spins. That is the extent of my testing. I have no idea how to test it further than that. Selling as is and only tested as far as Ive stated. I will remove the platter and secure it before packing/shipping.

The isolation base stops sub-woofer vibrations causing miss-tracking of the stylus. The Opto-sensors, common failure parts in this model, have been replaced with modern, high-reliability sensors from Omron part number: EE-SX398. Complete with the purchase will be the original user guide, and the Yamaha Service Manual. Classic turntable in need of a new belt. Motor tested and works great, cartridge produces beautiful sound, however will need new stylus as the needle on this one was damaged during handling… some repair shops or handy owners can possibly replace only needle, but will likely be too cumbersome and new one can be obtained….but belt is decayed and rotten- new one is $10. Also note scratches on cover. No longer need this TT, so next owner can enjoy and bring it back to perfect function. Sold as is due to age, will package and insure for safe delivery.
