Ich habe den Player daher aus ebay rausgenommen, eine original Nadel für den Audio Technica Tonabnehmer (ATS-10) im Ebay gekauft und eingesetzt (2 neue Bilder des Tonabnehmers). Jetzt geht der Player wieder. Wenig benutzter aber seit einigen Jahren etwas angestaubter Yamaha YP-D71 Plattenspieler1978 im Radiogeschäft in Velbert gekauft. Dieses Modell war damals sehr teuer wegen des Direktantriebs und ist daher auch nur 2 Jahre gebaut worden.1. Hand Aus good old hifi habe den Text verkürzt und etwas auf meine Gerät verändert In Deutschland tauchte die Tochtermarke des weltgrößten Musikinstrumentenherstellers der Welt erst 1972 auf. Ende der 1970er-Jahre gehörte Yamaha zu den absolut etablierten Hifi-Herstellern und bot erstklassige Geräte an. Inzwischen arbeitete man hierzulande nur noch mit ausgesuchten Händlern zusammen, die richtig gut verdienen konnten mit den Produkten, allerdings auch rasch keine Ware mehr erhielten, wenn heraus kam, dass man die Geräte unter den empfohlenen Preisen verkaufte.Im Jahr 1978 erschien der YP-D71 als kleiner Bruder des teuren YP-D8, obschon er diesem in kaum einer Eigenschaft irgendwie nachstand. Ein manueller Plattenspieler mit optoelektronischer Endabschaltung, wobei der Lift hochgefahren wird und der Plattenteller stehen bleibt – jedoch ohne Tonarmrückführung. Stellt man die beiden nebeneinander, sieht man, was ich meine…Dieses Exemplar in Nussbaum-Furnier (es gab noch ein dunkelrotes, palisander-ähnliches Furnier, was Yamaha Macassar nannte) Man staunt über die äußerst stabile Zarge, mehrere Lagen dichte Preßspanplatten sind miteinander verleimt.Auf dieser Platine ist die Motorsteuerung untergebracht. Die Geschwindigkeit ist quarzgeregelt und nicht einstellbar.Auf der kleineren Platine ist die optoelektronische Endabschaltung nebst der Liftsteuerung zu Hause. Der Lift funktioniert mit einem Hubmagnet.Selbst die Bodenplatte, bei sehr vielen Plattenspielern aus Hartfaser in 3 mm Stärke gefertigt, besteht hier aus einer 16mm starken, hochdichten Spanplatte.Die vier Federfüße sind völlig intakt – auch das ist längst nicht immer der Fall.Von außen besticht dieser Plattenspieler durch seine Schlichtheit, verbunden mit einer absoluten Eleganz.Links findet sich ein Schalter zum Wählen der Geschwindigkeit, es ist auch gleichzeitig der Ein- und Ausschalter. Wichtiger ist den Plattenspieler in die Waage zu stellen und den Tonarm auf die richtig Höhe einzustellen, dafür ist hinten am Tonarm eine Vorrichtung. Its been well cared for, stored in heated storage for over thirty years until she was recently uncovered. I had the pleasure of using this machine for 6 months. The extras this gentlemen kept in the box and a couple of pieces I added make this an audiophile dream package. If your going to get into this you mine as well get it right the first time. You dont see complete stuff like this. 50 years something always get misplaced or dissappears. Not this one. This habit can get expensive and there arent many desirable pieces out there anymore that have been kept original or are missing pieces. This unit has all those pieces covered. The way Yamaha wanted you to hear it. Finding one like this complete is very uncommon. Only a true audiophile would be prepared with such a unit Unit comes complete with extras. I put an N 75 in it and it wasnt proper fit but I did get sound out of both speakers. Sounded very nice but I think it could benefit from a proper fitting stylus so Im gonna throw this in for free. Considered to be one of the top 5 desirable turntables of all time. This is a one owner unit from an estate sale that I required recently. Its owner was prepared and cared for this unit. Its been well cared for, stored in heated storage for over thirty years until she was recently uncovered. I had the pleasure of using this machine for 6 months. The extras this gentlemen kept in the box and a couple of pieces I added make this an audiophile dream package. If your going to get into this you mine as well get it right the first time. You dont see complete stuff like this. 50 years something always get misplaced or dissappears. Not this one. This habit can get expensive and there arent many desirable pieces out there anymore that have been kept original or are missing pieces. This unit has all those pieces covered. The way Yamaha wanted you to hear it. Finding one like this complete is very uncommon. Only a true audiophile would be prepared with such a unit Unit comes complete with extras. Shure Premier (Re label of Shure 95) Brand new unused Stylus Shure 75 ED cartridge with after market stylus (N75) AND a brand new N75 new old stock elliptical stylus. I opened it to verify it was the fit to N 75. It has one song on it and sounded soo good lol. I put it back for special occasions but I currently have upgraded and cant see myself using it again. Let someone else enjoy it. I should have kept packet sealed but had to verify (sad face) Plus a Shure V15 ii Phono Cartridge, never got around to really testing this one out. I put an N 75 in it and it wasnt proper fit but I did get sound out of both speakers. Sounded very nice but I think it could benefit from a proper fitting stylus so Im gonna throw this in for free. The others have been tested and are EXCELLANT. Two belts from different carriers. I was worried and didnt wanna wait and ordered two just in case both are excellant Original Yamaha headshell weight. Manuals, warranty card, boxes, packaging. Timing was checked and verified stable at both speeds. Lubricated and serviced by licensed technician in Ottawa with in last 6 months Unit is impeccable and still has the original suspension foams. Licensed technician was shocked but if things are stored properly they last.
