I have two disc players, an Oppo 203 and this Yamaha S2700. Although the Oppo is great overall, for DVDs the Yamaha with the Faroudja upconverter via HDMI gives it a run for its money. I need the rack space for a turntable so selling this one. In excellent condition (the remote is brand new!), just needs to be used more. It is also a great source for SACDs and CDs; it was a TOTL player back in 2007. Cosmetics: the remote is new, the top of the case has some scratches from stacking.
