This auction is my Yamaha RX-V2700 AV Receiver. I have owned this from new and it has been kept inside a dust proof cabinet. It is in perfect condition both cosmetically and in functionality with the exception of a scuff mark, not really a scratch, on the top at the rear. I have tried to show this in one of the photos. This AV receiver does just about everything to do with sound and vision. I had a blue ray player, set top box, smart TV, CCTV system, Computer, surround speakers plus another TV and sound system upstairs. It was all operated via Magic Eyes set into each room. This receiver is extremely versatile and sophisticated with many types of sound settings from concert hall to movie setups all controlled with the included remote control. I have included a few photos taken today of the set-up screen showing just a few of the menu items. Everything works as it it should, it will even check your wiring up of your speaker set-up. There are many different ways to connect your various pieces of equipment using din, phono, HDMI etc. that’s why there are so many sockets on the back. When you connect everything go to Auto set u and the receiver will figure out how you have connected things and route the internal electronics accordingly. Yes, it is complicated at first and you will need some knowledge of setting up this kind of thing, the owner’s manual is 147 pages long. When I got this I had a technician set everything up for me. Once set up everything is controlled with the remote settings are accessed via your TV screen. The receiver operates 2 zones simultaneously and there is a separate remote control for zone2 which is shown in the photos. I had zone 2 as my bedroom setup. There is also a zone 3 but that is sound only and is controlled by zone 2’s remote control via a zone 2 zone 3 switch. It is a beautifully made piece of equipment with a solid brushed aluminium front. It cost a fortune when new and I have looked after it very carefully. If you have any questions please ask and I will try to answer them but bear in mind it is very sophisticated and I don’t fully understand every aspect of it.
