Offered for your consideration is a YAMAHA NS-A100XT/MID 4¼” inch aluminum cone midrange driver removed from my YAMAHA NS-A100XT tower speakers, manufactured c.2001. This model midrange may have been used in other period YAMAHA speakers, but the buyer is responsible for determining its suitability for any other models.So, please see my large photos and read the remaining description to decide if this capable YAMAHA midrange should be yours.*Although the listing is written largely in singular to avoid any confusion, two (2) identical YAMAHA midrange drivers are available at the time of this writing. Please choose if you’d like to buy one or both in the quantity field at the top of the listing. The shipping cost will be automatically calculated by eBay checkout. This YAMAHA midrange is in clean, excellent condition. The cone is flawless and so is the inverted voice coil dustcap. Plus, the hard plastic basket and flange gasket are perfect as well. Also, the surround is rubber so it will never decay and need replacement. In addition, the double-stacked magnet structure has no chips or oxidation. And, the +/- terminals are marked for polarity and have never been soldered on the spades. Overall, this mid driver looks practically new! Most importantly, it’s been fully tested and sounds terrific with strong, clear mid-frequency output. Plus, I tested its DC resistance at 4.6-4.7? consistent with a nominal 6 ohm driver rating. Lastly, the basket flange measures 5¼” diameter, it stands 3?” tall, and the mounting holes are spaced 3 5/16” adjacent / 4?” diagonal apart, c-t-c.As pictured and described, this well-preserved YAMAHA 4¼” midrange driver is offered at a competitive price. Yamaha Bookshelf/Wall Mounting Speaker Pair, NS-A102. Both of them worked fine when I last used them. Small scratches on the back of one, and some damage to the cover on the other (see photos). These worked fine as either the rear channels for my surround-sound system, and also as the only speakers when I had a receiver in my office. Thanks for looking!
