Description
Please remember that my ratings are based on my observations and consideration for things such as age are taken into account. It is totally subjective especially on the Cosmetics. As far as the Functionality. I stop at 8.5/10 if it has not been on a bench to guarantee factory specs. This was not bench tested. It is just a working Power Amplifier that offers a lof of additional functionality, like line level gains on the front panel, and all of the amazing clarity and detail that Yamaha is famous for, so here are the details: The Yamaha MX-630 Power Amplifier in black is a robust and powerful audio device. Manufactured between 1991-1993, it's a vintage piece with a timeless appeal. This amplifier has a power consumption of 650 watts, demonstrating its strength and capacity. Its dimensions are 43.5x17x41.9cm, and it weighs 13 Kg, indicating its solid build. The MX-630 features line inputs and dual loudspeaker outputs, providing versatility in your audio setup. It can deliver a range of power, from 2x 140 Watt at 8 Ohm to 2x 300 Watt at 1 Ohm, accommodating different audio requirements. This model ensures a clear, high-quality sound with a total harmonic distortion of only 0.003%. It also has an impressive frequency response of 10-60000 Hz, capturing a wide range of audio frequencies. The MX-630 stands out with its special features, including a channel-separated clipping display and level control, allowing for a personalized audio experience. Its stereo channel separation is 89dB, and it has a signal-to-noise ratio of 123dB, ensuring a clean sound free from background noise. See all function buttons do light in the pictures indicating functionality. As noted the Power button does stick, this is not grounds for return. In an abundance of caution I am currently running the amp in my secondary system. It is performing flawlessly. The only issue remains the sticky power button. According the eBay's rules the following conditions listed in the description are binding to both parties: If you Buy it Now I will ship to the lower 48 for free We agree this is a vintage piece of audio equipment and while it does function now, no promises or warranties are made or offered for the long term functionality of the product. As I do not take returns because of the nature of used gear, but in accordance with the Happiness promise, any returns must have the following if a refund if to be issued in whole are part: Pictures of the box prior to opening. Finally because this item has not been on a bench for testing, no returns will be issued if a stage or function does not meet factory spec. As long as the function works in part it is considered to be working. I am sorry to have to be this detailed. However, the governance of eBay makes it necessary for these to be in listings now for the protection of both parties.
