Classic Yamaha M-50 Power Amplifier for sale. The amp is working and Amp sounds great for a couple hours and then turns off and goes into protection mode. Once in protection mode it takes a couple days to come out of protection mode and then sounds great for a couple hours again. I understand this is most likely a transistor issue in output stage from what I have read. If you know how to repair the issue this would be a great amp for you. Was given a truck full of vintage audio. I would have loved this back in the day, but not now. These were the gold standard of home audio back in the day. Its dirty. Its broken (well, the A speaker terminals) and AS IS. Unit powers up and the protection is red. The you hear a click and protection lamp goes off. The unit remains on (power button is illuminated). The meter lamps and signal works when I fed it an audio input. Have not tested w/ speakers or input. So assume, non working (but in all likely, probably does).
