This is a really nice vintage music server that has been lightly used. Belonged to my parents who didnt use it much. The Yamaha MusicCast MCX-1000 is designed to be played either through an external receiver/amplifier or through the MCX-A10 remote control station. The system supports multiple MCX-A10 control stations that have their own built in amplifiers and connect directly to a pair of speakers. It is also necessary to connect the servers video output to either a television or computer monitor in order to easily utilize the units operating system. I have included photos showing the unit playing through an external TV monitor and a MCX-A10 control station. As a part of my testing I burned a few of my music CDs onto the servers internal hard disk, in order to make sure that function worked properly.All in all, this unit works perfectly and is a really nice music server.
