Hi Everyone, Please find offered for sale my used Yamaha RX-V657 Home Cinema 7.1 Channel AV Amplifier. I bought this amp for a home project but I've since bought another so this is being offered for sale. It's in good used condition and in 100% working condition but I don't have a remote ( an unbranded RAV 249/253 could be bought on here if needed) Also a point to note the main orange display is not a bright as it could be but is perfectly usable as you can see in the photos, yet in brighter direct sun conditions it may not be as easy to view. The receiver is presented in an attractive titanium finish, it does have some scratches and a few marks to the top casing but these are not noticed when stacked, the front panel is in excellent condition, please study the photographs as this forms part of the description. The power output is 95W for each channel and with top quality components it delivers a rich and detailed sound stage, it is excellent with a good set of speakers playing music or equally at home with a full home cinema setup. The amp boasts a host of connections for your AV and music setup featuring: Dolby 7.1, Dolby EX, DTS and Pro Logic 2 decoding. Note this amp  doesn't have a dedicated phono stage for record decks, so you will need a pre-amp if this is something you want to connect. Featuring A and B speaker circuits and a Zone 2 setting (for separate rooms) plus loads of inputs for all your equipment both digital and analogue (see back panel photo) and with a rated power of 95 Watts for each of the 7 channels. The only thing that's not included is HDMI connectivity but you could use the digital coaxial ports or optical digital ports instead. There is a great deal this amp can do and I would advise downloading and studying the manual for the optimum setup. I've had my local electronics repair shop swap the power board capacitor so its good to go for the future.  You will also need a separate FM aerial and AM aerial for the built in tuner to pick up a signal. This is a great amp at a fraction of the cost of new. I would prefer buyer collection due to the weight at 14kg (from Binfield Berkshire) but if you would prefer shipping this is selectable below.
