Took it out of the box to learn it before installation for a client, Unfortunately he passed away, we never got to install it and the books and the box have gotten away from us, NO REMOTE, I dont believe it has been upgraded, we ordered it for the client and never installed it. This thing is mint, not a mark on it, I love it and dont want to sell but its part of the estate, throwing in the 7 channel balanced cables, the 7ch rca cables, the 2 balanced sub cables and the dirac emm1 microphone, we will double box this with the proper insulation, but due to shipping companies frequent mishandling of packages, we will document our package. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY SHIPPING DAMAGES. No offense to anyone,

Emotiva XMC-1 GEN 2 7.2 Channel AV Home Theater Processor This 7.2 channel processor has balanced and unbalanced outputs, 8 HDMI inputs, 2 Reference Analog inputs (XLR and RCA), 3 RCA analog inputs, AES and USB DAC digital inputs, and 4 independent programmable triggers. The XMC-1 provides two features that stand out immediately: reference level two-channel performance and Dirac room correction. It is clear that Emotiva is proud of their sonic achievement: the power on initialization sequence completes with the display of Emotiva’s motto, “RE-THINK HIGH END.” This is a brand new unit (open box). All original materials that accompanied the preamplifier / processor are included and unopened.

EMOTIVA XMC-1 7.2 Channel AV Preamp/Processor 4K UHD DIRAC XLNT. Subject to prior sale on other venues such as CL. Really cool piece of gear and Emotiva’s first product fully designed and assembled at their Tennessee facilities. Would be impossible for me to go into every detail and bell and whistle this thing is capable of, but suffice it to say even now it is a very usable and capable home theater processor with full discrete outputs, most of the major formats and the HDMI 2.2 upgrade. However I did not originally obtain this unit for its theater uses, but rather on a hunch after doing much research on its fully differential balanced design, available room correction via DIRAC (which I did not actually end up needing to use) and the powerful built in parametric EQ. I also knew that Emotiva based much of the philosophy and architecture of the XMC-1 on their extremely well reviewed differential preamp line. This hunch ended up being correct as the XMC-1 not only hangs with much higher end standalone preamp, it outperforms many of them with a dead quiet background, excellent construction, and a beautiful OLED display. Considering it was connected to speakers many times it’s original retail MSRP ($2499), I would easily have been able hear shortcuts and shortfalls. Oh, and did I mention the remote control made out of solid metal? It doubles as a weapon. No box or microphone but will also include a power cord. It pains me to let this one go, but having gone back to an integrated unit, I don’t really have a use for it anymore. Excellent overall condition both sonically and cosmetically.
