PIONEER XC-L5 Stereo CD Receiver with remote control Pop Up Blue Display Made in UK & 2 Original Speakers S-L5V-S made in France with Manual ( operating instructions ).Supplied accessories: Remote control with battery CR2025.FN antenna.AM loop antenna.2 Speaker cords.Power cord.Operating instructions ( manual ). This is basically a book-shelf system that plays CD, with a FM / AM Stereo. The coolest part is the display pops up or moves forward and up when turned on. It also has a cool vintage blue block display which high tech back in the 90s. The speakers are the ones that came with it. They have a unique spotty wood veneer in gray with a white speaker cone. They system sounded good and everything worked on it with no problems. There are some scratches ( signs of use ) on the display face shown in photos ## 15, 16. Unit and speakers are not all scratched up and were taken care of. CD played smooth. Radio dialed in. All speaker outputs worked. Remote did its job. LCD is strong. Really a cool looking small system if your into the retro look but want true vintage. I AM THE FIRST OWNER and truly love the design and sound.

Rare Vintage Pioneer XC-L5 + CT-L5 Hi-fi Stereo System CD Cassette and Radio good condition but CD needs a fix I’ve owned this 21 years - I loved it then and love it now! Extremely rare now! You try finding another, it’s made up of CD deck with Radio and a cassette deck. There was a 3rd stack for minidisc but I didn’t bother with that because who ever bought mini discs?! Good condition cassette/radio/speakers/remote all great - but since I’ve last used it the CD player won’t play, comes up on the display but no sound other than slight clicks trying to play. The display can be altered up and down by the remote or button on top of stereo. Tiny lifting of speaker fake wood at the back to glue back but you can’treally see it tbh I’m being picky - I’m in Halifax Could deliver for reasonable petrol money - get in touch

PIONEER XC-L5 / SP L5 / CT L5 Vintage Bookshelf Mini HiFi. The system itself appears to work okay. Can be abit temperamental when inserting a new CD, it will sometimes just keep ejecting the disc. I’ve found switching it off just as the cd goes back in helps. However for this reason I have listed this as spares and repairs. Would benefit from some new audio cable also. I haven’t tested the tape deck as I don’t have any tapes but this is very clean. The system itself would benefit from abit of a service as over the years it has gathered a fair amount of dust. I can send a video of the audio quality if required. I have been as honest as I can be with the limited knowledge I have of these systems. Collection from worksop nottinghamshire
