GRUNDIG YB-P 2000 PORSCHE DESIGN PORTABLE AM/FM/SHORT WAVE WORLD RADIO/RECEIVER. Beautiful radio with the leather case. The radio works well, receives on all bands. Controls work as they should. Great sound on FM. Straight antenna. Clock works. Bright and crisp display. Light works. BUT, when you push the power button to turn off the radio, it does not completely shut off. There remains a hiss from the speaker. The volume control can be set to minimum and the radio is quiet. And the battery will run down in a few days even with the volume control at minimum. Hopefully someone can fix this. Check pictures for condition of the exact item you will receive. Ships USPS Priority Mail.

World Audio Design K5881 Valve Amplifier with Spare Power Valve Set Good working order.The amp is the version with has ECC83 and 7025 signal valves.A few minor wear and tear marks as per photos and the power transformer cover has a small dent as shown in last photo. Included is a spare set (2 pairs) of Golded Dragon / Sovtek. Would prefer collection but can be shipped with UPS. Price reflects weight and insurance.

I bought this amp non-working and replaced some components to bring it back to full working order. This K5881 Mk2 was built as a kit supplied by World Designs. I had the valves checked and all were within spec. Its a simple 2 x RCA socket input and two pairs of speaker binding posts and on/off switch. It has no volume control so youll need a preamp or DAC/ or other source with a volume control. This is wonderfully sweet-sounding valve amp delivering around 20 Watts per channel. Ive just connected it up to check it and was very impressed with its sound. I can post it and will individually label each valve and valve location so re-fitting the valves should be very simple. I will pack it extremely carefully and use an insured courier. It is extremely heavy so postage isnt cheap. Collection from Taunton is also fine. If you have any questions please drop me a message. This is a nice Grundig portable radio model # G-2000A. It plays FM stereo, MW, SW1 & SW2. It boasts PLL Synthesizer, a clock/timer, 2 world times and direct key-in. It works well and I was listening to a local FM station as I entered this for sale. It takes 3 AA batteries which are not included. I was going to include them, but the radio kept coming on while packing and I was afraid that if it did at the PO, they would douse it with water and call the bomb squad. All in all, it is a good quality radio that is in new condition. It measures approx. 5-3/8 X 3-5/8 X 1-5/8, and comes in the original box with instructions and other papers, ear phones and leather case.
