This listing is for a pair of Wharfedale 8 2075H woofers, removed from a Valdus 400 speaker I have parted out. These were also used in the Valdus 300 & 500. Each woofer had stress cracks in the original rubber surround, so I replaced them. There is not a direct replacement surround available that fits under the cone, so I used one that fit like a glove glued to the front of the cone. I used premium, USA made rubber surrounds. Both have been tested with music, a 30Hz test tone & a multi meter. Both sound & work great. Impedance is 8 ohms & DCR = 7.5 (#1) & 7.6 (#2).

Two x Vintage Wharfedale S500 75W Floor Speakers in Black.Great condition fantastic sounding.No holes have drilled in cases .Rear of speakers have two small marks where the wall clamps gripped the bases but no holes in the cabinets at all. Clamps and cables are not included in the sale.Wall clamps can be purchased for 20 the pair separately. One speaker has 2letters (LE) missing from its front grill and a few minor scratches but otherwise well looked after and superb addition to any hifi home entertainment system. Vintage Wharfedale S500 75W Floor Speakers in Black, perfect working condition, they have an amazing sound, they are said to be floorstanding speakers but they are working perfectly on a steady shelf as well as they are not very heavy. The bass is very warm and punchy, the tweeters are giving superb highs. No flaws on the sides, no damage on the grills and no damage to the drivers either.
