For sale is this Original Wharfedale/Rank E50 E70 E90 Woofer/Driver.PLEASE ENSURE YOU READ THE WHOLE LISTING IN FULL! For its age, I would class this woofer as being in a good condition, but there are marks, scuffs, scratches, some tarnishing to the metal and signs of wear/use. The main thing to mention is that the rubber woofer surround has come away from the metal around it and whilst the woofer still works fine, and sound fine, this will need sorting by the new owner before use. Ive included loads of pictures, from all angles, so please check out all the pictures as these make up a large part of the description and show the condition well. This was removed from a Wharfedale E70 speaker, but I believe this was also fitted to the E50 and E90 though if in doubt, please check before purchase. It is working but, as can be seen in the pictures, the outer rubber has come away from the metal surround in places and this will need glueing back in place before use as, although it actually sounded ok (no scraping etc) as it was, this will clearly impact the sound quality and usability too. For the above reason, it is being sold as working but needing this repair done so is SOLD AS SEEN - NO RETURNS AT ALL.......... 2 x E-90 badges which were purchased from Rank group (Bradford) in early 80’s I purchased bulk E-series spares prior to the factory going and just discovered these after all those years! I seem to remember they were with the later offered kit builds they produced 1982-85 There is self adhesive stickers to the rears and they are truly mint and mirror like, discovered in a tin in a box of x overs found in my loft! I have only a LTD amount available.

Extremely Rare Wharfedale E90 Pro Speakers fully working apart from one mid range (which I’ve never changed because I wanted to keep them as original looking as possible and to be honest the quality of the sound isn’t detectable). The rear connectors have been wired to receive standard hi-Fi twin cables with banana plugs, or a DIN plug, or a 3.5mm Jack plug. Cabinets do have some marks although the front and sides look pretty good for their age. The metal edging has some corrosion that could be improved, but I’ve liked them just as they are. Sound quality is fabulously rich and clear at any volume. A full demonstration will be provided to the lucky winning bidder.
