This item is in great shape, and the battery compartment has no corrosion. It was tested and working on battery power with the radio adapter, and while the tape doesnt play, I can hear the motor spinning. While Id love to just open it up and replace the belt, Id rather pass this one on for someone more capable. This is such a solid and iconic player, and I cant wait to pass it on to someone who can appreciate it.

From the early 1980s, this is the Toshiba Walky KT-AS1 by Toshiba. Made in Japan, this model features dual headphone jacks and a removable AM/FM radio tuner module. Also include removable black belt clip. Missing a couple of screws. Headphones are included, I believe these are original to this model but not 100% sure. Offered in as is and as described condition.
