I believe it needs a source to initialize but please correct me if Im wrong. The unit powers up and standby light comes on. Both items are in good pre-owned condition but the Wadia Digital 2000 will need to be serviced. It powers on and lights up but needs work to fully operate. It may be something as simple as a capacitor change, but Im not sure. This unit should be purchased by someone who is familiar with the electronic workings.
