They do have marks and scratches all around the cabinets. The speakers have been on a rear surround shelf since owned so they are in very good condition and work well. The sound is superb for surround sound which is what we used them for. The speakers show little signs of use. The casing color is shiny black. Covers are also in good condition with no holes. Pictures are of our actual speakers with model & serial provided in the pictures. I understand from my kids who are music buffs that Vienna is very high end equipment.
