Used working condition excellent sound

This is the wood finish case model SPL8RCH. This is the SPL-R series and is an 8 subwoofer. It sounds great and is in good working condition. The low pass crossover knob on the back has been broke off but you can still turn it and it still works. I dont have the remote for this unit. It is in good physical condition with the exception of the broken knob and sounds great. Add some bass to your sound system with this Velodyne subwoofer. Failed amplifier. Common problem with this model. Amp was recapped meaning all capacitors were replaced however there was no change in functionality, still no sound although the blue power LED indicator still illuminates. Several of the solder joints on the bottom were very difficult to desolder as my solder iron was under powered. A true desolder iron would have been better. Speaker and cabinet in great condition. This like new subwoofer came out of the Valodyne SPL 8 home subwoofer It is in like new condition comes with just the speaker only. The measured DC ohms is 6.7 Very small enclosure requirements Handles an extreme amount of power 600 watts RMS but you can give it 1200 watts no problem.

Tested working

Used SPL-R Series 8 Subwoofer. Was in a house we bought. We have a Sonos system so this was not needed. Appears to be in good condition. Previous home owner said it works but I dont have a way of testing it. Has some dust (from being stored in basement for two months) and some scratches but in generally good condition.
