Fully tested and all functions work on the player but I could not get the remote to communicate with the player. VHS tape plays great and all VHS functions work. FF, REW, Play, Stop. DVD player works great and all functions Work also. Just could not get the remote to work. I tried new batteries and still no luck. Very clean and no dents. Can still use without the remote or maybe the remote can be fixed or replaced. I researched to make sure the correct remote.for a SD-V280 player and according to my research the SE-R0066 remote is correct. I just could not get it to work. May need a new remote or maybe repairs. The laser has been recalibrated and cleaned. The VHS head has been cleaned and aligned. The Transport system for both the VHS and DVD have been lightly lithium greased.
