Uher 4000 monitor tape recorder, minted and boxed. I had the opportunity to purchase this in 2020 from Germany as an item that was brand new and boxed from the company that found itself holding the last new stock of Uher recorders for sale that were made in 1996. All I have done with it is to unbox it carefully and check that it works. I recorded a few lines of testing testing testing 1,2, 3 on it to check functionality and recording levels etc., then promptly erased it and boxed it back up. So it has had no use from me hence I am listing as new. It is in perfect condition. Not a mark or blemish on it anywhere. The recorder works perfectly. I have a brand new reel of recording the master 1/4 tape included and it is wound on a new clear Uher 5 plastic reel and this is being wound onto a very nice Uher 5 Metal reel. The monitor 4000 unit works and records wonderfully and is a very rare and unmolested example of the famous Uher Monitor brand.
