Marantz PMD 222 Portable Cassette Recorder 3 Head 1/2, variable Speed - Repair. This unit was working, but just stopped. I picked this up at a local estate- I played some tapes with both battery and a power supply that I had and it worked fine. I hooked up a mic, and the meters respond well. I made a recording, but when I tried to play it back, the unit stopped turning. I can hear the motors running, but I do not know why it doesn’t work. That is as far as I got in testing. There is corrosion on one corner, and some stains/ discoloration as pictured. The battery compartment looks good. This item is being sold as-is, for parts or repair. The case is included, but no power cable or accessories. Please see pictures for details.
