ONKYO TX-8500 This receiver is in good working condition. I took it apart, blew the dust out and cleaned the pots. Have been listening to it for a few hours and it sounds good. I played over the tape monitors and phono stage. The tuner works, but didnt pick much up in my basement. The case is in good condition. There are a few minor dings on the corners. It still needs a good cleaning and most the lights do not work. Overall its really nice. I put local pick up, but I could deliver to Twin Cites, Madison, Milwaukee, Green Bay or the UP

This vintage receiver is functional, except for the FM tuner. It does tune, but it drifts. Also, you need to press and hold the little lock button down in order to tune manually. The presets seem to somewhat work. But some buttons stick and/or dont stay engaged. I think there is something wrong with the board. This is why its listed for parts/ repair. AM seems to work fine, but there is a crash in the AM antenna. The original dial pioneer was missing when I received the receiver. My tech rigged an LED pointer now, which actually looks pretty good. All 3 sets of speaker outputs work as do the other inputs (I didnt test the tape loops). This unit suffered some cosmetic damage when it was shipped to me, mainly in the rear and corners. Pieces of the power jacks were chipped off, but all 3 are working. Please carefully examine the pictures to judge cosmetics.

zum Verkauf kommt der oben genannte AM/FM Tuner von Pioneer hergestellt im Februar 1977. Er ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat nur geringe Gebrauchsspuren. Die Bedienungsanleitungen, ein Schaltplan und das Stromkabel ist mit dabei. Ich habe mir damals eine blaue Acrylabdeckung anfertigen lassen, diese kann wahlweise vor die Anzeigenscala geklemmt werden und passt sehr gut zur beliebten blauen Serie von Pioneer. Diese wird auch gerne mitgeliefert.Ich konnte den Tuner nur mit einer aus einem Kabel gefertigten Wurfantenne testen da in unserem Haus keine UKW/MW Antenne installiert ist. Das Gerät hatte damit einen relativ gutes Signal, dieses war aber nicht so stark, dass die Stereo Lampe leuchtete.Ein Test und eine Abholung mit Barzahlung ist nach einer Terminabsprache gerne möglich.Ein EU weiter Versand ist auch möglich. The operating instructions, a circuit diagram and the power cable are included. Back then I had a blue acrylic cover made. This can optionally be clamped in front of the display scale and goes very well with Pioneers popular blue series. This is also included.I was only able to test the tuner with a wire antenna made from a cable because there is no FM/AM antenna installed in our house.
