Unit has NEW TRANSISTORS: 4 main outputs, on -ALL- boards -AND- on underside of unit. Components are high quality (Nichicon, Rubycon, Onsemi, Fairchild, etc.) More comprehensive restore than I have seen...not just select capacitors and cleaning/testing. Started with a pre-packaged restoration kit, which was very incomplete. It took many more hours (and dollars) to identify, procure & install correct additional capacitors/transistors. Gave this unit a lot of TLC, because intent was to keep. Just have too much equipment at this point. Adjusted amp bias back to factory specs. New LEDs installed. Tested strong FM and AUX-1 w/CD player. Didnt use/test the other inputs. Some scuffs/scratches around edges of faceplate and on top of case. Some flaking of coating and oxidation, on sheet metal shrouds covering the FM/pre-amp boards (see photos). Signal meter on far left doesnt move much. Havent looked into issue, but did buy only used spare I could find & will ship w/unit. I would consider this in good, but no where near mint condition. Will ship within Continental United States only (excludes Hawaii & Alaska). Used and sold as-is.

Harman kardon 630 twin power receiver. Works fine and sounds amazing. Has one or two bulbs out. Plays amazingly loud with 30 watts per channel. Very high quality unit for the price. This is one of the rarer members of famous twin power line. Two completely individual left and right amplifiers! A heavy unit, it weighs in at almost 30 lbs. All of the knobs are present and note the split tone control knobs for L & R channels. The original red power button was replaced with a blue commercial quality replacement. Im sure of you wanted to you could install the original again. This one works fine. Also two tiny screws missing from the top front of the case.

vintage harman kardon 630 twin power receiver. comes with the original good-condition wood case, which i imagine is hard to find (its dust on top, not sun bleaching). ive owned this for a few years now, used in my workshop, and never had an issue. may be hard to see in the photo, but has am radio, fm radio, fm stereo radio, phono, and aux as well as various other fine-tune sound options which i never used but they all seem to work. the only hiccup is that i bought it with the volume knob missing - so i replaced it with a wood one that i made, which works fine. im sure you can find an original replacement, if youre so inclined. reason for selling : downgrading to a sonos system, yes i know. collection : se london collection option.shipping : otherwise, £25 u.k. shipping seems fair to have me properly pack it and ship it since its quite heavy. any questions, dont hesitate to contact.

Unit has been tested and does work but needs some work. Everything is working and sounds good. The function selector (Phono, AM/FM,Etc.) has contact issues with the right speakers. You can get it to work by moving back and forth the knob a few times until it plays on the right side. We sprayed some contact cleaner and it helped but still not perfect.
