Nakamichi TD-1200 ll Mobile Tuner Car Audio Cassette Deck Vintage Tested Japan Description Nakamichi Nakamichi TD -1200 II cassette deck tuner operating product is on display. The Nakamichi Nakamichi TD -1200 II is the ultimate cassette deck equipped with NAAC (Nakamichi Auto Azimuth Correction) for automatic playhead azimuth adjustment similar to the famous Nakamichi DRAGON. It can also be used as a dedicated cassette tape player for home audio. It was 1990, when I was running a store after kaho-dio, and I bought it from a customer. The listing is as it was stored in the warehouse. Wiring and fuses (which affect sound considerably) need to be replaced to enjoy analog sound more. I think the sound quality of selenium power (12 VDC) is the best for home audio enjoyment as an audio cassette deck. I think selenium power DC 12 V is available at Yahuoku. Is the selenium power supply (DC 12 V) as good as or better than the famous Nakamichi DRAGON? You may enjoy the sound quality of. In image 10, I listened to TD -1200 II in listening room 3 at home. The power supply is a Stanley selenium power supply, the amplifier is a remodeled Lux SQ 507 x, and the speakers are German Gretz excitation and Alnico speakers for listening. I also own a Nakamichi 700 ZXE, and the TD -1200 II sounded just as good. (This is my feeling) After all, the selenium power supply seems to be good. Depending on the car battery, the sound quality of the battery feels a bit heavy, but I think it sounds better than a transistor stabilized power supply. ?After connecting the ACC to the battery power supply and the body ground, the TD -1200 II is turned on by entering the security number about 4 minutes after the power is turned on. To prevent theft, if all power is disconnected from the unit, the unit will not turn on unless you know the security number. ?The Nakamichi Auto Azimuth Correction (NAAC) does not work unless it is recorded on cassette tape. The motor moves the playhead by detecting high-frequency components. It is constantly monitored during playback and readjusts immediately if it determines that the azimuth is out of position. Automatic Azimuth Adjustment: Automatically adjusts the playhead angle and position to best fit your cassette tape recording. ?We checked the operation of TD -1200 II on June 13, 2023. The operating environment is not mounted in the car, but is activated by the body with a stabilized power supply to check each output and each function. What we checked: Cassette tape playback, NAAC function, tone control function, volume balance function, auto reverse function, FM/AM tuner function and above, we have confirmed normal operation.
