This is a TRIO Vintage integrated amplifier model number KA949. It dates from 1985 with an output of 100 Watts per channel. It is in fully working order and condition with just some age related marks. It has MM and MC phono inputs for vinyl. I am only selling as now we have moved, we have less room and my wife is insisting I sell some of my collection. Please contact me if you have any questions. Trio (Kenwood) KA-2000a Stereo Amplifier from 1973. Small size ideal for use in a home office. In good condition, some marks consistent with age and use, please check the photographs. The knobs are not the original but good quality new replacements which suit the amplifier well. Serviced to include cleaning inside and out, all the pots and switches have been treated with switch cleaner, known issue noisy transistors replaced in the pre-amp, bias currents set. No undue crackle, hiss or hum. Soak tested for a few months and 100% working including the power bulb. These are known for producing a sweet sound, this one is no exception. Trio KT8005 Tuner - powers up ok and is illuminated, cant test as no aerial Trio KA2500 Amplifier - Powers up ok and works with turntable Goldring GL75 Turntable - Tested on 45 & 33 RPM works ok, have not tested further Sony TC377 Reel to Reel Tape - Powers up ok and runs forwards and Reverse (reverse sluggish and needs help), untested otherwise as unable to wire up to amp. KEF Concord Speakers - Work ok with turntable Some marks on cabinet and speaker tops as shown in photos. Some wiring on the back of the unit is disconnected, not sure what it is for, there is a light in lid but not working. Bag of cables and odds & ends included. Instruction booklets included for TC-377, Trio KA-2500, Trio KT-8005, Goldring GL75 & KEF Speakers. Minimal testing carried out as mentioned above - Sold as seen. TRIO KA-1500 VINTAGE STEREO INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER AMP 1976-79This reminds me in some ways of a valve Amplifier as certain Transistor Amps did in the early days of 60s and 70s. 30 watts per channel gives you plenty of power to fill the average sized room without over-stressing it and this causing distortion. Very impressive considering it was not top of the range in the Trio line-up of the period. I matched it with a Celestion 44 and Sansui speaker mix and Thorens TD-166 MK 2 and also a CD-P3450SE CD player, it performed well and as I said previously, almost reminded me of a Valve amplifier. This was probably due to quality of components. The on/off control knob is a similar period replacement due to the plastic shaft of the original breaking whilst taking off to clean/spray the controls. I have priced this accordingly for a quick sale. Where else could get a quality vintage or otherwise Amplifier in working condition at this price!? 1971 Trio KA-2002 Stereo Integrated Amplifier 6 Inputs Inc 2 Phono GWO FREE POST. Working when last used, 20 or so years ago. Not tested as I don’t have the equipment.
