Description
Vintage Grado Labs GL stereo cartridge I am absolutely NOT a stereo expert. My neighbor gave me a vintage (1960s?) high end stereo system that they were throwing away. The phonograph came with two heads, and one head included this stereo cartridge. I have tested it to the best of my ability - which means that I did connect all the peices of the stereo back together and played a record. Music did come out of the speakers. So I can confirm that the cartridge works although I cant speak at all to the fidelity or quality of the output. (In fact, I got a ton a feedback through the speakers, probably due to a grounding issue with the cables. I have no idea.) So Im listing it as for parts only because I truly cant vouch at all for its condition (although every other piece of the system has sold, and the buyers seem very happy.) Ive found similar cartridges online that suggest this may be a Grado Labs Tracer Beam Moving Coil MK II (whatever that means) from 1964. But I have no way of confirming that. If other pictures would be helpful, or if you have other questions, please feel free to reach out to me. And thanks for looking.
