This device was working properly very recently with just a few minor quirks. However, it appears to have encountered some damage during shipping. It powers on, the jacks / connections all work. The lift gate on the player opens but no longer springs up (must be lifted by hand). It was able to play CDs but now it takes a lot of moving around to get it to spin.
