Please check out the pictures for this item, they are hard to find and this one has had the VCR and DVD tested. The both work as seen in the pictures. The VCR was tested using the pause, play stop fast forward eject and rewind. DVD player tested using the menu buttons pause rewind FF stop eject as well. These items do seem to have some brown spots on them, could be an old coffee stain or a burn mark it is hard to tell but the item does work. The remote works as well and has batteries in it.
