Asis. I dont have a the batteries or cable to test. Im assuming it needs a lot of work because I cant even open the cassette part and there is a chip on back by battery compartment, see pics. Would make a really cool 80s prop for a costume. Asis, untested, assuming it is broken. Dirty.

DESCRIPTION: TOSHIBA - RT-S782 STEREO RADIO CASSETTE RECORDER BOOMBOXRARE VINTAGE/RETRO 1980s EQUIPMENT! From my own personal collection, selling this and my cassette tape collection. All functions are fully functional. Since the boombox is more than 30 years old, it has cosmetic wear and marks consistent with age, there are scratches on the case. the plastic is discoloured in places and there is wear to the silver areas. The back aerial wont stay stood up. Please see all photos and the video before bidding. Even with this wear the boombox still looks fantastic and has been a very popular talking point in my home. The radio still works and it is nice and loud, there can sometimes be a bit of static or something when twisting the tone knob. The cassette player still works and has been lovingly used up until listing it today, it could probably do with a good clean and service though as is common with vintage equipment like this, I dont trust myself to do this and as I have now converted to CDs again I would rather this go to someone who will enjoy it as much as I have and hopefully give it a service because it definitely has so much more life left in it and its a beautiful piece of vintage equipment. I have given it a quick clean on the outside and as you can see from the photos its still a lovely looking piece of retro equipment. Toshiba RT-8016 Radio Boombox Red | Cassette Player. Comes in good cosmetic condition given its age. Unfortunately the tape deck isn’t working. The audio is a bit iffy. As you adjust the volume, the sound comes from either one or both speakers - and it’s crackly. It does not come with a power cord. Pickup or postage available.
