Toshiba RD-XV48DT 160gb HDD & DVD/Video Cassette VHS Recorder - Spares/Repair Cosmetically, in good condition given age - A few light marks here, & there, but nothing too seriousSome light dust in back fan DVD player works fine, and displays correctly when connected via HDMI to my TV However, I cannot seem to get the VHS to display on my TV - It accepts the VHS, I can fast forward & rewind the tape, but it doesnt seem play the VHS, and it will not display on my TVIm not sure what the fault it, it seems somewhat noisy, but Im not sure from memory if that is how it has always sounded As such, theres no way for me to test whether it records/transfers to DVDs 100%, so please bear that in mind Maybe an easy fix? Would be a shame to bin, as they dont make these anymore, so hopefully of use to someone No remote is included Please view all my imagesAny Qs, please do ask

TOSHIBA DVD Video Recorder VHS Combo HDD RD-XV48DT~Black~Copy VHS to DVD~FAULTY. Selling for parts - the VHS side does not work - it rejected two cassettes when I tried to get them to play, and then it chewed up a third when ejecting. I have not been able to test with a TV - currently moving house and don’t have any HDMI cables etc in order to test - low starting bid. Full disclosure - this will need a repair job. The DVD tray does open and a DVD appeared to play when tested - see pictures. The VHS side is 100% faulty. Includes remote - untested - and the instruction manual which is now quite tatty.
