Vintage Toshiba XR-P9 Digital CD Compact Disc Player - 1986 Japan made. This device was working properly very recently with just a few minor quirks. However, it appears to have encountered some damage during shipping. It powers on, the jacks / connections all work. The lift gate on the player opens but no longer springs up (must be lifted by hand). It was able to play CDs but now it takes a lot of moving around to get it to spin. It does play thru speakers when its working and it recognizes a Disc, just struggles to spin. SHIPS OUT SAME DAY! Select USPS Ground to save,or Priority for faster delivery. Working Toshiba XR-J9 compact CD player for sale. Playing discs without a problem, at least with ones in good condition that I have tested it with. The headphone socket works but the volume control could do with some TLC. Typical of these sliding controls, they can be noisy and/or not reliable on one or both channels. Someone skilled should easily bring it back to full function. No problem with connection to an amp. Happy to answer any questions, just send a message and Ill reply as soon as I can.
