Selling my Audioquest Tornado 2m US 15 Amp Power Cable. Bought new, plugged it in once and unplugged once when setting up my stereo. I think Ive had this about four years. I bought it at the same time I bought a Audioquest Niagara 1000 (which Im also selling in another listing). Due to a little dust on the wire casing, this cable is conservatively rated an 8 out of 10. Power amplifiers are also unique from all other components in that the current draw is dynamic, not constant, and it changes with volume and audio signal content. Though many AC power cords may feature low DC resistance to allow for some of this requirement, the characteristic impedance of the AC cable is equally responsible for assuring uncompromised performance. Many premium AC cords constrict or compress the audio transient as their characteristic impedance restricts the transient current. Dielectric-Bias System (DBS; US Pat #7,126,055): By creating a constant dielectric field for the cable’s primary capacitance field or dielectric, DBS assures extended bandwidth and more evenly filtered noise dissipation, eliminating the distortions and ringing that plague other cables even after years of use and so called “run-in time.” In addition, DBS assures that the RF Noise-Dissipation System works as linearly as possible. Controlled for Correct Directionality: All drawn metal strands or conductors have a non-symmetrical, and therefore directional, grain structure. Audioquest Tornado Source Power Cable 2.0M with C13 (15A) plug This was purchased from an authorized dealer in December 2022. Its past the break-in period and in perfect condition with no issues. Retails for $1300. If youve got an Oppo or Panasonic 4k/Blu-ray player, or a pre-amp or streamer, you need this power cable! Also, dont get fooled on these other C19 cables that support 20A. Youre device needs to support a C19 plug and Ive never seen one of those. Most U.S.A devices have C13 (15A) plugs. Be sure to check your device and compare to my pictures.
