Radio does work plugged in but if the volume is raised to high only noise is heard. The clock will not advance unless there is a battery installed. I tried setting the alarm but it didn’t work. This was a never used Tivoli Audio Henry Kloss Model 3 clock radio. In perfect working order. The battery case had a battery in it that slightly corroded but the compartment appears fine. Sat on a bureau as a display versus used. No chips or scratches, dents or dings. In very good condition, like new. Needs a cleaning but I will leave that to the buyer so as not to damage it.
