Dafür unterstützt der Lautsprecher den aptX-Codec, der eine nahezu verlustfreie Übertragung in CD-Qualität gewährleisten soll. Wer es lieber hochauflösend mag, kann Musik auch über einen PC, Mac oder Netzwerkspeicher mittels UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) in hochauflösender Qualität wiedergeben. Alternativ können auch der USB- oder Klinkenanschluss genutzt werden – an Anschlussmöglichkeiten mangelt es dem Klangwürfel definitiv nicht! Auf der Vorderseite befinden sich zwei Hochtöner, die in jeweils zu einer anderen Seite zeigen, um den Klang möglichst weit im Raum zu streuen. Flankiert werden die Hochtöner von jeweils einem Mitteltöner. Darunter befindet sich ein großer Tieftöner, der von zwei Passivmembranen unterstützt wird, die an der linken sowie rechten Seite untergebracht sind. Insgesamt fünf Verstärker treiben die Töner an und liefern zusammen eine Leistung von 300 Watt. Die dabei entstehende Abwärme wird an den Kühlkörper an der Rückseite abgegeben. Klasse Klang mit sattem Bass Beim Probehören demonstriert der Mu-so, dass selbst kleine und kompakte Lautsprecher einen sehr guten Klang abliefern könnten. Über die App lässt sich zudem festlegen, ob der Lautsprecher nah an der Wand aufgestellt ist oder etwas freier im Raum steht, wodurch der Klang entsprechend angepasst wird. Wird der Mu-so Qb überwiegend zur Hintergrundbeschallung genutzt – was eigentlich viel zu schade wäre – kann eine Loudness-Funktion hinzugeschaltet werden, die den Lautsprecher bei geringen Lautstärken deutlich voller klingen lässt. Trotz seiner kompakten Größe hat der Mu-so genug Power, um auch größere Räume zu beschallen. Ab einer gewissen Lautstärke schieben sich zwar die Höhen stärker in den Vordergrund und der Bass zieht sich etwas zurück, allerdings dürfte diese hohe Lautstärke in der Regel nie vonnöten sein.
