The cabinet is in good structural condition but the vinyl wrap on one side is starting to peel away, an easy repair that is cosmetic only. It has the transport locks and one dust cover pin. Internal measurements are 15.75x12. I believe this will fit TD-150, TD-145, TD-160, TD-165 and others, check the chassis size. It is original vintage 1960s Thorens cabinet, made in Germany. It is made to the correct mass value required but it my differ cosmetically to the original manufacturers weight. * Please note that this auction is for the anti skate weight and its monofilament line only. The line is knotted and has a small balancer that goes inside the weight but the end that attaches to the anti skate bar of the tonearm is open ended and therefore you must tie the loop end yourself. Length of the line supplied is 25cm which is enough extra line for a couple of attempts and I will supply extra lines if you feel you might need them for free on request. *

Complete 1970s turntable, complete with the dust cover, box, SME Series II Improved arm and a contemporary Shure cartridge with a good stylus. It comes with the manuals for turntable and arm and its generally in very good condition. There is some corrosion on the arm in the form of light pitting in places but its not obvious and looks more like spots of dust. It has a fairly recent belt and has no trouble reaching 45RPM. Theres still some glue in the top lefthand corner where a dust sweeping brush was mounted. Perhaps the best solution would be to put another one there. Ive got one somewhere, let me know if youd like it. Relisted due to non-communicating, non-paying bidder.
