Description There are some minor scratches and cracks on the dust cover connection, but there are almost no noticeable marks or stains, and the record player remains in relatively clean condition for a record player of this age. All operations have been checked. All speeds are good, including 16, 33, and 45. The pitch control and strobe light are also good. The belt has been replaced with a new one, and all parts have been lubricated with oil, so it is ready for immediate use. Included are weights (very solid) and insulators. Made in Germany to Swiss specifications this Thorens TD-125 turntable is an exquisite piece of vintage Hi Fi. It belonged to my late husband, a Hi Fi enthusiast, and is being sold because of the need to downsize to a much smaller home.The turntable, which has been described as Thorens’ “flagship” model, is in working order. It comes with its original cover, original instruction booklet and service manual. All are in very good condition considering that theThorens TD-125 first saw the light of day in 1968. As the successor to the earlier TD-124 model, it has been said that the TD-125 provided the refinement needed to accommodatethe stereo cartridges that were emerging at that time. This model is fitted with a SME Supertrack arm and Shure Supertrack Plus cartridge.

THORENS TD-125 Turntable. Play tested and sounded great with the not included arm and cartridge that previously were attached. The table was gone through by a tech at Save on Sound in Houston Texas where he replace a few caps, and placed on a new belt. Strobe works and the table is stable at 33rpm. It’s a lovely sounding table. I’m also selling separately a Grace 707 Tonearm that was on it previously, and a Shure m97x cartridge. The table sounded lovely with them!
