Vintage Thorens TD104 MKII belt driven record deck. IMPORTANT: Please note that the right channel phono plug is missing as can be seen clearly from the photos. Unfortunately, the plug and the cable going into the plug became damaged and could not be repaired so I had to remove it. I connected another plug temporarily but never got around to doing a proper repair. This should be a straight forward repair for anyone with the appropriate skills. Manufactured in West Germany and has the Serial Number 42494. It was originally purchased in June 1981 and, apart from the damaged lead as detailed above, is generally in very good condition considering its age. The motor and belt drive is fully functioning. I have attempted to show the deck in operation in the photos. Note that the deck has been carefully stored for a number of years with the belt removed from the motor spindle to prevent it from deforming. The deck does not have a cartridge fitted. However, all the original fixings, spacers, cartridge mounting gauge and mirror are included. The original manual is included. The original box with all the original packing is included and the deck will be shipped according to the packing instructions on the box. There are some slight scratches on the top of the cover which I’ve tried to show in the photos. Also in the photos, is a review of the deck from What HiFi from September 1980! Il giradischi è nuovo di negozio mai usato, il prodotto arrivato danneggiato probabilmente per qualche colpo nel trasporto. Il danno consiste nel fatto che il braccio non risulta agganciato bene con la base meccanica sottostante che lo collega e attiva il piatto. Tutto il resto è perfettamente integro, il motorino del piatto funziona. Il giradischi non è stato mai smontato per accertare in cosa consiste il danno, quindi non mi è dato sapere se si è semplicemente sganciato oppure rotto qualcosa.Il giradischi nuovo ha un valore di mercato di 250 euro, potrebbe essere un affare per chi ha la competenza e la capacità nella riparazione. Nella scatola originale è completo di ogni accessorio come da fabbrica, coperchio e testina compresa. Thorens TD 180 Record Turntable Player Works Fine Just Tested. The only thing that is wrong with this beautiful turntable is that the little plastic arm on the arm elevator that locks the arm into place broke off. I took a picture of this but you can’t really tell but the the top little plastic part that clicks the arm in place fell off a long time ago.

Thorens TD180 Belt Drive Turntable in good working used condition ,lovely sounding player , I have tested it on the 33&45 speed but not 78 ,the sound is superb ,turntable works as it should ,please study photos for condition ,the black finish is lifting slightly on the corners ,nothing that affects the player ,just cosmetic ,has original power supply ,all in all a nice vintage turntable
