Speaker is being sold as is. Does play but doesnt sound right. After inspection I noticed the cone of the woofer is stuck like halfway down and doesnt pop all the way out, so its doing its full range vibration. Also noticed the foil paper under the middle cap is ripped. Im not an expert and have no idea if these issues can be repaired or if the woofer needs to be completely replaced. Either way, unit is being sold as is, assuming for parts or repair, sale is final. Cosmetically the case is in pretty good condition, comes exactly as shown, see pictures. Serial # 365. ... I have here a super rare item. The 3.6 tweeter has not been available for years. Incredibly hard to find. This one was dented by a rambunctious cat. I have carefully removed the dome and carefully and gently reformed the dome. The impedance is spot on at 3.6 ohm. The sound is perfect as I have done this type of work for years. The photo shows the repair work. I will guarantee this tweeter sounds and functions as perfect or I will refund you.

Thiel CS 3.5 Electronic Bass Equalizer. Jim @Thiel admitted he made a mistake in his design of the now legendary CS3.5. Without the correction of his electronic crossover bass is flabby and lower midrange dull. The crossovers were Jim’s solution and the reviews of the speaker with the electronic crossover in place label them one of the best loudspeakers ever. Some rate them above their world champion cousin the CS3.6. I know nothing more than it came with speakers has no ciggie smoke and no operational issues. Note my feedback except for two losers who can’t say anything IVE DONE but they didn’t get their reduction after winning Ethel auction “He’s a foodie head” “He ripped off everybody!” Yeah, how. What’s your..,,,.. (forget it). 500 sales not one person cheated out of a dime. But haters who don’t get their price lowered after buying gonna cry!

We have Thiel CS3.5 Coherent Source Loudspeakers (Set of 2) in VERY GOOD CONDITION for sale. We received this pair of speakers from Louisville Actors Theater here in Louisville, KY. They were manufactured by Thiel in Lexington, KY in the 1990s. They are FULLY functional & are in stunning vintage condition. The cabinets appear to be made from teak. There are a few scratches consistent with their age. Please see photos. Free LOCAL pickup. Local delivery is available for a fee dependent upon location. There are no tears & no cracks. There is some give when I push on the midrange, consistent with their age. One of the midranges appears to have been professionally replaced at some point in time. Unfortunately, I have no way of testing them myself. Louisville Actors Theater had tested them prior to giving them to us. They are in the process of downsizing to a smaller building & weve been volunteering our time to help them. I own Griswold Rubbish Removal LLC & as a thanks to us for our help, they give us items that can be sold.
