Generally excellent condition with the only blemishes being the stacking residue marks on the top of the unit, but they are only visible in daylight looking directly down on the unit. The Amplifier has been checked and serviced by my local Hi Fi shop before listing, who were originally Technics main dealers back in the day. Please note the shorting pins, which originally were in the ‘Ext’ ports are not in place, which means audio cables will be provided in these ports to make the Amplifier work, as intended. The Amplifier otherwise needs connection to a graphic equaliser (not supplied) linked from these ports to the Amplifier. Background Technics 360 series of separates were excellent home audio products. Four 360 systems were released by Technics in 1992. This amplifier was included in the near top of the range CDX510E system. The amplifier being sold here is excellent quality in a brushed steel black fascia to compliment the other components of the 360 series range. Technics Digital Integrated Amplifier SU-X501-Please Read description. Powers on. Connected up to a cd player with one speaker. Connected to Tape, Aux, tuner, and cd outputs. Got sound from Al those outputs but I didn’t think it was particularly loud, even at full volume, so this might need looking at. Bass, Treble and balance all work. All deflection functions light up, volume knob turns freaky as do the others. Display looking a bit faint to me, but please have a look at the photos. Units itself had a few scratches and marks. Also think the front plate need adjusting to line up with the body of the unit as it out of line a bit currently. Any other questions please ask
