This is the close relative of the Marantz model 7 preamp circuit but with an added valve rectified power supply. Superb sounding, still relatively not that well known. All buttons and knobs functional All original except for some repairs to the rca chassis plugs which are quite fragile and also some renewed out of spec electrolytics and some of the main signal capacitors in the circuit board have been upgraded to the highly regarded Jantzen red non polar capacitors which have kept the sound unaltered and as per the original to a greater extent. Will come with 8 little used valves. 4 for the main preamp and 4 for the phono stage plus one for rectification. Please note the Valves shown in the photo are not being sold with this particular unit. This is an old unit so expect there to be marks and scratches if you look for them. 240v version

Amplificatore modello SU-300 di ottima marca, Technics (Giappone), ma entry-level, cioe di primo livello. In pratica senza tanti fronzoli per chi allora non voleva o poteva spendere oltre le sue reali possibilita. Possiede un ingresso Phono(Giradischi), un ingresso Tuner(Radio-Sintonizzatore), un ingresso ausiliario per lettore CD o altro e il doppio ingresso entrata-uscita per Tape(Piastra-Lettore di cassette). E possibile collegare soltanto una coppia di casse acustiche, con impedenza da 8 Oms a 16 Oms. IL frontale unica luce che si accende, e quella rossa del tasto Power(accensione) il resto che visualizza i vari componenti in funzione e solo stampato in senso figurativo. Ingresso cuffia che non esclude le casse, cursori per bassi, acuti, bilanciamento e volume, fatti a scorrimento verticale come era in moda neglianni 80, infatti e stato prodotto dal1986 all87. Questi cursori, col tempo, creavano problemi per laccumularsi della polvere allinterno, problema non presente in questo oggetto, ma onde evitare il possibile presentarsi del problema, ho provveduto a livello precauzionale a usare un pulitore di contatti di alto costo, anche se non ve nera alcun bisogno. In ultimo sulla destra in alto, selettori delle 4 sorgenti sopra dette. Eroga 30 Watt x canale in 8 Oms. Ottima la risposta in frequenza che va da 10Hz a 70Khz. Anche la distorsione armonica e buona 0,05% IL damping Factor(fattore di smorzamento) e di 40. IL rapporto segnale-rumore 71DB(Testina MM), 85DB linea. Sensibilita in ingresso 2,5mV(testina MM), 150mV Linea. Separazione canali 55DB. IL Livello in uscita(output) 150mV linea. Sono tutti valori uguali ad amplificatori di fascia piu alta perche il risparmio lo hanno fatto nel non mettere Ingressi per una seconda piastra e per un altro paio di casse oltre la mancata illuminazione delle varie sorgenti sul frontale. Le dimensioni sono 43 x 8,6 x 24 cm. Peso 5,8 Kg. Loggetto come da foto e acceso e funzionante in tutte le sue funzioni. Per la qualita sonora vale quanto detto prima, e un primo livello e il suo problema e che essendo economico, veniva sempre abbinato con casse pessime. Il discorso cambia molto se vengono usate casse di un certo pregio.
