Super Fidelity and Gobs of Power! This Technics amp is from the golden era of Technics. The amp was serviced by a pro shop some weeks back at a cost of $300.00. The SU-V8 has tons of power and is rated at 105 Watts per channel. I bet it would even drive Maggie LRS+ or other hard to drive speakers. (Haven’t tried it, but…) It drives my Anthony Gallos to deafening levels with ease. It has MM and MC phono preamp input options for your turntable. The tape inputs work well for streaming. If this was my only amp I’d be totally happy. As it is, I need to move it. Too many amps for wedded bliss. BTW it’s quite heavy as a good amp should be, so I’d much rather have local pickup but will pack and ship as well as possible. Please note that I don’t guarantee safe delivery. Technics SU-V85A Intergated Amplifier HiFi ONLY AT PRESENT - but see below (bottom of listing) SCAN CODE ON PICKUP REQUIRED! I have owned it for years and not been used much at all because of it being far to loud, to big, to heavy and way over the top for me. Tested now and push switches noisy but got better with a bit of use. This is even louder than I remember..and heavier. If you pay via eBay then you will need the scan code on collection else NO and I wont let it go! I have to do this to prevent chargeback scammers. Id prefer cash on collection but dont try and renegotiate price on the doorstep else youll go home empty.. I might be persuaded to pack and ship this but Parcel Force quote was 20. Top of the range Technics SU-V85A 200 Watt Stereo Integrated Amplifier - A very well regarded heavyweight,11kg, integrated stereo amplifier with phono stage. Class AA. In good working order. One rear speaker post as been repaired and the front knobs arent original but they still do their job and dont look out of place. Please refer to photos for condition and features. Apologies for the poor quality photos. A lot of amp for not a lot of money. Will package well and post at my own risk. Returns accepted provided all security seals remain intact. Funktioniert soweit, spielt auf beiden Kanälen. Nur CD-Eingang getestet. Potis und Schalter kratzen, muss überholt werden. Das Gerät ist optisch eigentlich gut, muß aber gereinigt werden. Verkauf ausdrücklich als defekt! Working so far, plays on both channels. Only CD-input tested. Potentiometer and switches scratchy, needs a revision. The amp is in a good optical condition but needs to be cleaned. Explicitely sold as defect! Noch ein kleiner Kommentar zu den von mir als überholungsbedürftig/defekt angebotenen Geräten: Die Geräte werden von mir lediglich kurz getestet. Aufgrund dieses Tests erfolgt die Fehlerbeschreibung. Die Geräte werden NICHT von meinem Techniker durchgeprüft noch wird der Reparaturaufwand bewertet. Weitere Defekte kann ich aufgrund des Kurztests nicht ausschließen. Sie müssen SELBST entscheiden ob Sie das Risiko eines Kaufes eingehen und ob Sie sich eine Reparatur zutrauen. Das Gerät zu einem Profi zu geben wird sich sicher nicht rechnen. Wenn Sie selbst Profi sind umso besser :-)
