The dust cover hinges have snapped and so although the hinge edges still slot over their original holes they do not hold the lid up, I had the turntable on a surface with a wall just behind so could rest the lid on that when open. The tracking and sound quality is still fantastic. Tracking is as solid as always. Issues: The needle arm return button works, the auto-return usually works, but on some occasions doesnt, which over the years I noticed seemed to be linked to if the record has been allowed to play through or not and the size of the record run-off rather than any mechanical issue. The pitch adjuster has become sensitive over time, meaning only slight touches of the pitch wheel cause quite significant movements in speed. The manual,which I will include a copy of, shows how to adjust this setting and it looks quite simple but as this a valuable piece of kit I didnt want to risk any damage. I have used the turntable with this quirk recently without any problems. Pick up is preferred from London E17, Walthamstow and I will reduce the winning price by 10% if buyer is willing to pick.
