Want a decent, working turntable, but you don’t want to pay the ~$350 for a new one? Buy used! This listing is for a Technics SL-B30 turntable, which I believe is from the 1980s originally. It has been tested and is working (see video). It also has an AudioTechnica AT85EP stylus/needle that was added within the last several months. There were some defects found (read below), but all in all, it plays nicely and is easy to operate. INCLUDES - The record player itself, with dust cover - All cords needed to operate it (AC power cable, left and right stereo cable, and a ground cable) Note: Does not include records, a receiver, or speakers, all of which are needed to play records. Also does not include a 45 adapter for playing singles. These are cheap and easy to come by, though. DEFECTS - The “start” button and auto-repeat function do not work. However, you can super easily start it by just moving the tone arm towards the record (as in the video), and the “stop” function works just fine. A minor inconvenience, if even that. - The motor makes a projector-like spinning noise as it runs (see video). It did not interfere with my listening experience, but I tried to correct it by lubricating the spinning portion of the motor. It had no effect. - A piece has come off one of the tabs that connects the dust shield to the hinges (see pics). This is pretty common with Technics, so be aware that you can’t be rough with the dust shield. It still opens and closes fine, though. - Some wear and scratches on both the record player’s shell and dust shield. - It did not originally come with a ground wire, so I had to fashion one out of the yellow video line of an AV cable. It looks a little sloppy at the tip, but it serves its purpose fine. All in all, it’s a good starter turntable from a reliable brand. It has some defects, but it does its job such that someone can get into the hobby of vinyl collecting and enjoy their records without having to go with either a cheap, “suitcase” style player that might damage their records or a multi-hundred-dollar newer model. Gebrauchtgerät, voll funktionsfähig, aber ohne Nadel. Eine Ersatznadel kostet etwa 25 bis 30 Euro und kann bei MrStylus besorgt werden. Es muss die Nadel für den SL-BD3 sein, da dieses System am Plattenspieler eingebaut ist, weil es besser ist als das Originalsystem für diesen Plattenspieler. Aufgrund der fehlenden Nadel biete ich das Gerät so günstig an, ansonsten müsste ich mehr dafür nehmen.

Er braucht einen neuen Riemen (der alte ist leider irgendwann verschlissen), sollte ansonsten noch Einwandfrei funktionieren (nach dem Riss logischerweise nicht mehr getestet, andereseits lief er bis zu dem Zeitpunkt ohne Probleme und ich da er immer trocken und warm gelagert war, dürfte nichts mit ihm sein). Es handelt sich um ein Headshell mit 1/2 (12,7mm) Befestigungsmaß (half - inch conector), damit können alle gängigen System eingeschraubt werden. Elektrisch und mechanisch top in ordnung, optisch auch einwandfrei. Beispielsweise für Technics Plattenspieler SL-B3 SL-B2, SL-B5, SL-B303, SL-B303, aber bitte selbst vergleichen, da ich nicht alle Geräte und Typen kenne. Rest: siehe Bilder Das Headshell hat einen großen Einstellbereich und gerade Linien, dies erleichtert das parallele Einbauen des Abtasters ins Headshell und die Einstellung des Überhangs.
