Technics RS-DV290 Twin Cassette Deck for the 290 audio system. Replacement component only.Not a stand-alone unit or suitable for other systems. Including only the ribbon attached, no other accessories. Please note: I am selling for parts only, but just to be on the safe side with no returns. When I tested it, tapes played and rewound on both decks but sound was very muffled.When you look at the head and transport system its full of dust and will therefore need to be opened up and given a good clean, after which I am 90% sure it would work absolutely fine. In used cosmetic condition with normal signs of use / wear Deck 1 - (Left cassette deck) did not work correctly when tested Cassette started and selected > direction ran for a few second (no sound) then switched to < direction for a few seconds (no sound) and then stopped Deck 2 - The right hand side cassette deck seemed to play fine.
