For sale is a Technics preamplifier and tuner combo. The preamplifier is in great condition. I don't think it received a lot of use. The tuner needed some paint touch up but its still pretty good. Please look at the picture's. I totally recapped the preamp of all electrolytic  capacitors. They were replaced with high quality Panasonic FM brand. That seemed only fitting. I replaced the power on light. Also Caig'd the function switches. I recapped the power supply in the tuner. Also replaced all the dial lamps with the original type. Technics really went all out in designing this preamp and tuner. On the preamp the function switches are moved back to put them in-line with the signal, thus reducing the signal length. They used no caps in the preamp design. You want a high quality phono section? here it is Hookup 1 moving coil and 2 moving magnet types. I tested the moving coil input with an Audio Technica AT-OC9mc cartridge and it had more gain than my streaming setup. It also sounded better. This preamp really sounded fantastic. Excellent detail in the upper mid range area. You want to turn it up, not down. The only problem I found was a very slight raspiness of signal when the balance control was rotated its entire rotation.I tested the tuner with a small antenna I had and it worked great. Very sensitive and sounded better than I expected. All sales are final. You will not get stuck with a non-functioning unit. Take a look at my feedback.  US sales only please. Thank you
